On Sunday morning, we drove a bus to church. On the bus, everyone introduced themselves, gave their hobbies, and their favorite food.
Afterward, we went out to eat lunch. Some people ate some of the more…adventurous food. The food included fish noodles, a cold coconut soup, fish balls, pork balls, and (the worst) tofu.
After lunch, those of us who arrived late received teacher training. Eight of us arrived late. Seven of us spent the night in Tokyo, when our flight was delayed for four hours, and we missed our flight to Singapore. After training, we ate a more normal dinner, and then went to sleep.
Please continue to pray for us.

None of the food sounded adventuresome to me. In fact, they all sound yummy.
ReplyDeleteTofu is good also. Granted, by itself it is bland but it soaks up flavors very well. Sometimes I fry tofu and add a homemade terriyaki sauce. Yum.
I agree...tofu is soo good. I think the worst from that lunch was the penang laksa:)
ReplyDeleteToby...I know! Martha told me about the team which split into two groups and one of them was the adventurous group! I am guessing so much that you went with that team :) Congrats for being so adventurous! Some people just look at the tofu and put it aside :P Bravery counts, Tobio. :P *grin*
